Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead our accounting operations while partnering with senior leadership to shape the company's financial strategy. This is a critical role in managing the accounting function and ensuring the accurate execution of financial activities. The ideal candidate will be experienced with NetSuite ERP and Concur, driving both operational efficiency and compliance. This role will allow you to be heavily involved in day-to-day accounting tasks while having a key voice in the company's broader financial direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the month-end close process, including reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's financial assets
  • Lead preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Drive process improvements in vendor payment and employee reimbursement workflows (Concur)
  • Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to inform decision-making
  • Ensure timely filing of all tax and regulatory compliance documents
  • Serve as the primary owner of the NetSuite ERP system, continuously optimizing for performance and functionality
  • Play a key role in process enhancement initiatives and system upgrades across the finance department

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience with a preference for hands-on NetSuite ERP expertise
  • Experience with Concur or similar expense management platforms
  • Proven track record of managing a full-cycle accounting process
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a small, collaborative team
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and executives
  • Experience with financial system implementations or upgrades is preferred
