Our client is looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join their team.

You will be responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of an enterprise reporting database.


This role sits on-site 5 days a week in North Haven, CT.



Technical must-haves:

  • Mastery of SQL for querying and managing databases.
  • Understanding of database schema design, normalization, and indexing.
  • Experience with systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and SSIS.
  • Ability to create data models that support business processes.
  • Skills in optimizing database performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Leverage SQL skills and reporting tools such as CRMBI in creating, writing, and optimizing reports to enable and support business needs.
  • Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • ETL Processes - Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for data integration.
  • Understanding of database security practices to protect data integrity and privacy.



Qualifications:

  • Three to Five years of similar or related job experience.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
