Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with configuring and maintaining systems like routers, switches, and firewalls.
  2. Monitor the network, ensuring uptime and addressing connectivity challenges.
  3. Create records of configurations and troubleshooting efforts, collaborating with team members to resolve complex issues.
  4. Keep up with emerging networking technologies and assist with disaster recovery processes.

Required Skills:

  1. CCNA certification or equivalent experience in networking.
  2. 2+ years of hands-on experience with network engineering, preferably in a service provider or enterprise environment.
  3. Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts, including VLAN, BGP, and OSPF.
  4. Experience with Cisco networking equipment. Exposure to Juniper or Palo Alto is a bonus.
