Job Description:

Summary:

  • We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular and .Net Core to lead the modernization of our web application and backend services.
  • The successful candidate will spearhead the update of our existing web app to the latest version of Angular, migrate backend services from the .Net Framework to .Net Core, and re-architect certain components to run as micro-services.
  • This role includes transitioning functions into micro-services on the bank's OpenShift platform and implementing new functional modules to meet specific business needs.
  • Comprehensive documentation of the system architecture and integration testing using the bank's standard processes is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade the current web application to the latest version of Angular, ensuring compatibility and performance optimization.
  • Migrate existing .Net Framework backend services to .Net Core, taking advantage of improved performance and scalability.
  • Refactor console applications into micro-services using appropriate messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or MuleSoft.
  • Decompose a monolithic web service architecture into smaller, more manageable micro-services deployed on the bank's OpenShift platform.
  • Design and develop new functional modules that address predefined business requirements, integrating them seamlessly into the existing system.
  • Create detailed system architecture and integration test documentation, adhering to Confluence, Jira, Visio, and other bank processes.
  • Ensure all development work is in compliance with industry best practices and the bank's internal security protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA testers, and IT operations, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage the end-to-end testing process, including unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Angular and a comprehensive understanding of web development best practices.
  • Expertise in .Net Core and familiarity with micro-services architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or MuleSoft.
  • Proven track record of migrating large-scale applications to modern technology stacks.
  • Experience working with container orchestration platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in creating technical documentation using tools like Confluence, Jira, and Visio.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Previous work with cloud services and serverless architectures.
  • Relevant certifications in Angular, .Net Core, or related technologies.

We can offer you:

  • A highly competitive compensation and benefits package
  • A multinational organization with 52 offices in 20 countries and the possibility to work abroad
  • Laptop and a mobile phone
  • 10 days of paid annual leave (plus sick leave and national holidays)
