Job Summary

Novant Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Consult Liaison Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both psychiatry and collaborative care, with a focus on providing high-quality psychiatric consultations in a hospital setting.

Opportunity Highlights:

* The consult liaison team will consist of a psychiatrist, an advanced practice provider, a licensed therapist and a care specialist. This team will work together to ensure that providers are able to function as efficiently as possible while maintaining remarkable care
* 7 on/ 7 off schedule
* Ability to teach Novant Health Psychiatric Residents

Candidate Qualifications:

* Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry

Responsibilities & Duties:

* Patient population: All Ages
* Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide timely assessments for inpatients
* Collaborative approach with medical and surgical teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
* Provide supervision and mentorship of psychiatric residents and medical students
* APP Supervision

Additional Compensation Details

* Two-year salary guarantee
* Relocation allowance
* Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance
