What we're looking for:

The Director Finance is a high-level leader that oversees finance and accounting activities. This role involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

What you'll do:

  1. Oversee the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives and long-term financial sustainability.
  3. Collaborate with senior leadership to establish financial goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
  4. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and operational plans.
  5. Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  6. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and performance reviews to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  7. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
  8. Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure timely adoption and compliance.
  9. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address audit findings.
  10. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.
  11. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  12. Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and senior leadership to support organizational strategies.
  14. Perform other duties as needed.

What you have:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  2. 10+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. 5+ years of management experience.
  4. CPA or CMA certification preferred.

  9. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  10. High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
  11. Proficient in SAP.
  12. Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.

  1. Occasional travel may be required.
  2. This employee will be responsible for direct reports.
