Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the supervision of the Nurse Manager, performs the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in the Advanced Wound Care Center. Assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. Is cross-trained to cover in HBO. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long range plan, mission, vision, and values of the hospital. Promotes a supportive environment that encourages teamwork.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Current RN licensure with the Tennessee State Board of Nursing.
Preferred med-surg experience.
Wound Care experience preferred.
TriStar Summit is a 200 bed comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services. These include cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. We are a Primary Stroke Center. TriStar Summit is a leading provider of emergency heart and stroke care.
