Through advanced diagnostic technologies and a multidisciplinary approach to lung health, integrating thoracic surgery, pulmonology, oncology, and radiology, we are committed to improving lung health outcomes through excellence in clinical care, patient education, and groundbreaking research.

A cornerstone of our mission is to expand lung cancer screening broadly to enhance early detection and improve survival rates. • Mentor junior faculty, residents, and fellows in research activities.

Education and Mentorship

  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering an environment of academic excellence and professional development.
  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and hands-on training sessions in thoracic surgery and lung health.

Community Engagement

  • Promote lung health awareness through community outreach programs and partnerships with organizations such as the American Lung Association (ALA).
  • Advocate for lung cancer screening and early detection initiatives within the community.

Qualifications:

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited thoracic surgery residency program.
  • Board certification in Thoracic Surgery.
  • Proven experience in thoracic surgery with a focus on thoracic oncology and lung cancer surgery.
  • Expertise in minimally invasive and precision-guided lung-sparing surgical techniques.
  • Strong track record of research in clinical trials and health services research.

Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent surgical skills with a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
