The Animal Cardiology Center (TACC) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated veterinary assistant with an interest in specialty veterinary medicine. We are a staff of inspired veterinary professionals, practicing modern medicine in a state of the art and collaborative environment. Our brand-new facilities ensure you have the tools, technology, and support needed to succeed, grow and thrive. This is a wonderful opportunity to use and expand your clinical skills and bodies of knowledge in a unique, specialty environment.

As an Assistant at TACC you will play a critical role in supporting our veterinary cardiologists and Technicians to provide the highest standard of care to the companion animals of NYC and the surrounding areas. Confident restraint skills and an acute attention to detail are required in this communication and history intensive environment.

Requirements:

2 years' experience as a Veterinary Assistant
Confident handling and restraint
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly communicate with clients as well as team members
The ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude
Highly evolved organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
The ability to work independently, responsibly, and ethically
A resourceful nature and creative problem-solving skills
An openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning
A commitment to the welfare of animals
