Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.

Duties:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Take digital x-rays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care

- Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

- Knowledge of infection control protocols

- Familiarity with general dentistry procedures

- Understanding of dental terminology

- Proficiency in aseptic techniques

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques

- Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant in Washington State

- Proficiency in PracticeWorks software is a plus

- Familiarity with perio, endo, ortho, surgery and implants is a plus

- Experience with placing restorations is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
