Summary: The Oncology Research Lead will have responsibility for the research department and will be a resource to the other site-specific research nurses and/or research support team as well as supporting management in both problem resolution and coordination of the daily operational needs. The Oncology Research Lead acts as an advocate for patients on clinical research trials and will serve as the primary point of contact for the research department, operations, and staff, promoting effective resource utilization and assuming a leadership role with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing
  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
  • Clinical and/or Regulatory research experience preferred
  • SOCRA or ACRP certification preferred but not required
