Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive social work services to clients and their families, effectively addressing psychological needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the psychosocial circumstances of patients, focusing on their unique situations and care requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans that align with patient goals and address emotional and behavioral health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on supporting patients receiving hospice care, often facing terminal illnesses and associated emotional challenges. You will work with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families, accommodating varying degrees of mental health needs, from mild anxieties to severe psychological distress. The ability to empathize and provide tailored support is essential in fostering meaningful patient-clinician relationships.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required to provide the foundational knowledge necessary for this role.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW in California is essential to practice legally in this field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting working with children, families, and individuals with special needs or developmental disabilities, showcasing your ability to adapt to various patient backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and incorporate new technologies into therapeutic practices, enhancing overall service delivery.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
