Job Details

* 214 hospital beds
* 7 on / 7 off block schedule; 12-hour shifts
* ADE is 19-20/day
* No more than 3 admissions/day
* Open ICU-Hospitalists admit to ICU, but do not continue care for patients in ICU
* No procedures required, intensivists onsite
* EMR: Meditech but will be switching over to EPIC 1-2 years
* Staffing Model:

* Day: 7 Physicians (7a-7p)
* TeleHealth as a backup during any surge
* Night: 1 Physician & 1 NPPA (7p-7a)

CHRISTUS Highland, in southeastShreveport, is a general acute care hospital that specializes in cardiacand orthopedic medicine, women's services and surgery. The Cancer Centeris located on the Highland campus with an additional Cancer Cliniclocated in Bossier City.
