LOCATION: 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801
HOURS: 8:30am - 5:00pm; Monday to Friday w/alternating Saturdays
FULL TIME: Benefits eligible
Sign On Bonus Eligible
In this role you will:
* Perform moderate and high complexity testing using state-of-the art instrumentation including an integrated Sysmex XN line with CellaVision
* Review manual differentials
* Read IFA slides for autoimmune and infectious diseases
* Analyze, review, and report test results and quality control results and take remedial action when indicated
* Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory's procedure for specimen handling and processing
* Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to include departmental programs, quality control, quality assurance, and safety
All you need is:
* New York State License (Medical Technologist)
* B achelors Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
* ASCP, preferred
Salary Range: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour (depending on experience) . Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
