Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 / hour
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM ( Overtime when production is high)

Overview
Seeking a Pipe & Structural Welder capable of welding pipe in all positions (1G, 2G, 5G, 6G) and passing a 2G horizontal flux-core (FCAW) groove weld test on plate. Ideal for motivated welders or recent trade school graduates looking to advance their shop and field skills.
Responsibilities
- Weld pipe in 1G, 2G, 5G, and 6G positions using GTAW (TIG) or SMAW (Stick) for open roots.
- Perform high-deposition fill and cap passes using gas-shielded flux-core (FCAW / dual-shield) on pipe and plate.
- Pass a 2G horizontal groove weld test with dual-shield wire to code standards.
- Fit, align, bevel, and grind pipe joints and plate assemblies to required tolerances.
- Clean and de-slag passes thoroughly to prevent inclusions, porosity, or lack of fusion.
- Set machine parameters (voltage, wire feed speed, gas flow) and follow welding procedure specifications (WPS).
Requirements
- Experience: 1–2+ years of welding experience OR completion of an accredited welding/vocational program.
- Testing: Must pass an on-site a 2G FCAW test prior to hire.
- Skills: Proficient with angle grinders, cutting torches, and joint layout tools.
- Physical: Able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in awkward positions, and follow all PPE/safety rules.
