Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an inpatient position at Bridgeport Hospital, part of the Yale New Haven Health System, in Bridgeport, CT. This 400-bed Level 2 Trauma Center and teaching hospital houses Connecticut’s only burn center.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

  • provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units;    
  • serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in rounds, committees and/or other events as needed;
  • participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives;
  • be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and
  • efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
