Product Manager, Data Science & AI



Our client is a private investment firm based in Boston, MA looking to hire a Product Manager. This individual will lead the overall vision, development, and ongoing strategy of products, with a focus on leveraging Generative AI and other top of the market methods in data science, machine learning, and analytics. The ideal candidate has prior experience in financial services, consulting, or private equity. This role requires 3 days per week onsite.



Responsibilities:

  • Implement solutions iteratively that drive value creation and operational efficiencies
  • Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch
  • Work closely with the sales and technical teams to identify user needs and use this for continued product development
  • Conduct market reseatch to stay at the cutting edge of tech
  • Ensure prioritization of features and functionalities that support data-driven decision-making
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the team and the exploration of new technologies and methodologies.
  • Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in across the organization
  • Facilitate user testing and maintain stakeholder engagement


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven success in a dynamic product management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies and hands on experience using them in a business context
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of driving product vision and delivering results
