The Assistant Nurse Manager will report directly to the Nurse Manager of Oncology and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of superior care.

Our Oncology unit provides comprehensive care to patients with various types of cancer. With a focus on evidence-based practice and compassionate care, our team strives to support patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Nurse Manager in daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards.
  • Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and development.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for staff, offering guidance on complex patient cases and treatment modalities.
  • Uphold regulatory compliance and accreditation standards within the unit.
  • Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate interdisciplinary communication and collaboration.
