PURPOSE: Responsible for duties specific to Warehouse, Receiving, and Shipping functions of Lincoln Products for direct shipment to Lincoln customers. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Maintain stock of material in a safe, orderly, and accessible manner.
  • Transports material or product using a forklift or stand-up truck to designated locations which may include loading, unloading, receiving and put-away.
  • Utilizing handheld RF Scan guns or Computer to perform required transactions in SAP.
  • Follow proper stock replenishment methods.
  • Maintain proper stock rotation and housekeeping requirements.
  • Packing and shipping product for parts orders.
  • Responsible for maintaining a steady flow of material to assembly lines and work centers.
  • Responsible for accurate and clear identification of parts.
  • Participate in physical inventories.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience or certification in operating Industrial Vehicles (Forklift/Stand Up/Towmotor).
  • Rotating shifts as required.
  • A previous background in material handling or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Excellent safety and attendance record.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • A service-minded approach toward production workers.
  • Computer: related SAP systems, Centra and Excel file lookups.
  • Ability to understand and work with JIT, Reorder Point, Lot for Lot, Visual replenishment systems, scanning, and KANBAN systems.
  • Willingness to accept transfer within the department as necessary and cross train on all jobs.
  • Ability to bend and lift objects out of various containers.
  • Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Maximum weight lifted – infrequent basis 100 lbs.
