Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home. As part of our remote team, you will be provided with a user-friendly counselor dashboard that simplifies session management, benefiting both you and your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via video chat, providing a safe space for clients to discuss their emotions and life experiences.
• Encourage open discussion, helping clients to articulate their feelings and navigate through challenges.
• Assist clients in setting realistic therapeutic goals and create structured plans to achieve them.
• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment goals as needed.
• Advise clients on effective coping mechanisms and behavioral strategies to enhance recovery.
• Provide minimal disruption to your workflow by having the clinic manage administrative duties, including client billing and onboarding.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse patient population seeking mental health support. Clients are screened for stability and generally present low acuity issues, allowing you to work effectively with adults seeking to improve their mental health and overall well-being. By utilizing telehealth, you will reach individuals who may not have access to traditional in-person therapy.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Must hold a valid license to practice independently without supervision as one of the following: LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• No limited or provisional licenses will be accepted.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
• Proficient with technology and capable of navigating digital platforms for therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a remote counseling setting is advantageous but not required.
• Experience working with various demographics and mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
• A sign-on bonus of $3,000 to new hires.
• Weekly direct deposit for timely salary payments.
• Full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend.
