Principal (FACADES)

TYG is partnering with a leading specialist consultancy that is seeking to hire a Principal to join its established Building Envelope practice in New York.

This is a senior leadership opportunity combining technical project delivery, client development and the continued growth of the firm’s NYC practice.

Key Responsibilities

• \n
• Lead the design and delivery of complex new construction facade and building enclosure projects\n
• Provide technical leadership across facades, waterproofing, fenestration, roofing and specialty enclosure systems\n
• Build and maintain relationships with major owners, architects, developers and industry partners\n
• Lead proposals, presentations and strategic pursuits for new work\n
• Mentor and develop technical staff across the practice\n
• Support the financial performance, strategy and continued growth of the New York team\n

Requirements

• \n
• 10+ years of experience in building envelope consulting, design or a related field\n
• Strong background in new construction and building enclosure design\n
• PE, RA or equivalent professional licensure\n
• Experience leading complex projects and managing senior client relationships\n
• Strong understanding of facade and building enclosure systems\n
• Ability to contribute to business development and practice growth\n
• Previous experience mentoring and developing technical teams\n
