About the role:

As a Real Estate Runner, you’ll play a critical role in our acquisitions team, bidding on properties at courthouse steps and helping secure opportunities to revitalize communities. This is a field-based role that involves extensive driving between properties and auctions. You’ll need to think on your feet, make decisive calls, and communicate effectively while thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. What you'll do:

  • Bidding on properties at courthouse steps to support our acquisitions team
  • Drive to properties and auctions daily throughout the designated area.
  • Inspect properties for occupancy
  • Make general assessment on the current conditions and quality of neighborhoods and communicate with project manager
  • Deliver Change of Ownership forms
  • Install and pick up lock boxes, ensure keys are at properties when needed
  • Negotiate relocations and cash for keys as needed
  • Use our proprietary systems and mobile tools to streamline data quickly and efficiently

What you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to knock on doors and talk with occupants
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Valid driver's license in good standing

The salary range for this position is $24.00- $28.00 an hour. In addition, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
