Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of our marine construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine construction and be familiar with the construction of piers and other heavy civil projects. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of marine construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, ensuring that all tasks are being completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure proper planning and execution of projects
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols on job sites
  • Maintain detailed project records and reports, including progress updates, budget tracking, and any issues or delays
  • Communicate with clients and project stakeholders to provide updates, address any concerns or issues, and ensure satisfaction with project progress
  • Procure necessary materials and equipment for projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the marine construction industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of marine construction techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Experience with the construction of piers and other heavy civil projects
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of construction workers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Proficient in budgeting and cost management
  • Certifications in construction safety protocols and regulations

Nice To Have Skills

  • Previous experience with piers and heavy civil construction projects
  • Background in construction management or related field
