Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at the Evangelical Counseling Center. This full-time, remote position is situated within our hospice center in Houston, Texas, and offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000–100,000 per year. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in providing essential mental health support to individuals during a critical phase of their lives.

Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, relevant strengths, and available resources in their lives.\n
- Deliver individualized therapy, along with family and group therapy sessions, utilizing best-practice approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.\n
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to create and implement comprehensive and client-centered treatment plans tailored to each individual's specific needs and challenges.\n
- Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation workshops, and support groups to promote a community approach to healing.\n
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment, ensuring that safety planning is in place for clients facing immediate psychological distress.\n
- Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with both ethical guidelines and legal standards to ensure continuity of care and compliance.\n
- Engage with clients to set their therapeutic goals and regularly review progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.\n
- Document and manage case notes while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively to support exemplary care delivery.\n
This position focuses on providing mental health services to a diverse clientele, primarily individuals facing end-of-life challenges and their families. You will work with clients experiencing complex emotional needs such as grief, anxiety, and depression related to their situations. The effective support offered can significantly enhance their quality of life and aid in the coping process during difficult times.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, preparing you with the necessary skills and theoretical foundations for effective practice.\n
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to legally and ethically practice in Texas.\n
- A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, showing a proven track record of providing quality therapeutic interventions.\n
- In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, along with demonstrated effectiveness in applying these therapies with varied populations.\n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, paired with strong assessment abilities, enabling you to build rapport with clients quickly.\n

- Background in team collaboration, particularly in coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal client outcomes.\n
