The Dialysis Registered Nurse will work at a Joint Commission-accredited hospital. The Dialysis Registered Nurse will report to the Nurse Director, and work with other members of the care delivery team as part of the dialysis unit to provide safe, patient-centered care. They will be responsible for assessing and overseeing the care of patients concerned with acute or chronic Renal Failure, as well as educating patients and their families on treatment and aftercare. The Dialysis Registered Nurse should possess progressive nursing skills, such as fluid management, vascular access, hemodialysis, and EKG monitoring. All candidates should be patient-focused with a collaborative, “can do” attitude. They will have a passion for nursing and be able to carry out the hospital’s vision and mission.
