Speech Language Pathologist

*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with children and adults to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for your patients through individualized therapy plans and early intervention strategies.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
* Provide speech therapy services in various settings, including schools and clinical environments.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
* Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment approaches and techniques.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
* Educate patients and families about communication disorders and effective strategies for improvement.
*Requirements*
* Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech therapy practices.
* Experience or knowledge in early intervention techniques is preferred.
* Familiarity with pediatric care and school-based therapy is advantageous.
* Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
