Overview:

Compensation / Benefits

  • $14.29-23.34/hr. depending on previous employment history.
  • Evening differential $1.10/hr.
  • Night differential $1.25/hr.

Our Sterile Processing Department is a fast paced, team oriented, quality driven team consisting of 22 members, with experience ranging from 6 months to 37 years. The types of procedures performed in our health system include cardiology, orthopedics, dental, endocrine, ear, nose and throat, general surgery, robotics, gynecology, labor and delivery, neurology urology, and bariatrics. As a team, we process between 2500 and 7500 instruments per day.  Our processing technicians demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, autonomy, critical thinking skills and recognize the importance of their role as a key component to our health systems commitment to our patients and the need for quality work.  We welcome you to take the next step in your professional journey and join our team

Responsibilities:


Job Summary

·         Identifies and initiates appropriate sterilization method

·         Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with hospital and unit specific policies.

Qualifications

Education

All levels require minimum High school education or the equivalent.

Experience

One year of healthcare experience preferred, can be waived at manager's discretion.
