Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer passionate about high-voltage systems? Join our dynamic team at our Tennessee Operations facility in Alcoa, TN. We are looking for individuals who share our values of integrity, inclusion, and diversity, with the agility to grow themselves and others.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking environment, managing complex electrical systems, supporting plant operations, and driving capital projects. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee high-voltage system safety programs, and ensure that engineering support is provided across the plant.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support high-voltage electrical systems engineering and safety programs.
  • Provide electrical engineering support for maintenance, operations, and production areas.
  • Develop and implement capital projects, major repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Manage external vendors providing electrical design and support services.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with 480VAC power distribution, automation, process control systems, drives, and PLCs.
  • Proven leadership in managing and executing electrical projects.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in high-voltage electrical engineering and system maintenance.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Experience managing capital projects and maintaining industrial electrical power systems, including transformers and switchgear.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
