Experience:

• 18 months of Oncology Unit experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with McKesson is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license prior to placement start.

• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.

No block scheduling.

This is an ambulatory Radiation Oncology Practice, which does include some management of inpatients coming down to the unit for radiation. We have 4 linear accelerators and 8 physician partners.

This department preforms specific radiation oncology procedures. The clinic RN is responsible for triage,management of provider clinic schedules/assessment prioritizing patients, and prn patients with symptom issues while on treatment. The clinic RN will: insert IV’s, access mediports, administer Lupron injections,and other hormone therapy, assist with tandem and ovid procedure, gold coil implants, hot seed implants, patient assessment, triage and education. They will partner with the LNA team, and Radiation Therapists to provide safe, and high quality of care to our radiation oncology patients.
