Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) at Epic Travel Staffing summary:
A Travel Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry and Stepdown care, with a focus on IMCU patients. This role requires a MA license, a minimum of 1 year IMCU and 2 years med-surg and tele experience, along with the ability to interpret telemetry rhythm strips. The position involves working night shifts, averaging 36 hours per week, with a patient ratio of 1:3 for IMCU and higher for med/surg levels.
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Stepdown - Yawkey 6 Medical IMCU
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, -E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:

  • MA License -
    Minimum 1 year IMCU experience
  • Minimum of 2 years med surg and tele experience
  • Experience with neuro care, MI's and trachs is required
  • Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and pass telemetry test on Day 1 with 85% or better. -
  • Experience with auto med dispensing system is required
    BLSACLSIMCU or critical care experience preferred
    Other Details:
    • Dept Details: mixed IMCU/neurology/med-surg patients, 27 beds with a high number of IMCU patients, High neuro, medicine and cardiology patient mix, care for chronic vents, trachs, high acuity heart failure. -
    • Average patient ratio: 1:3(IMCU), 1:4 or 1:5 for med/surg level of care
