*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in family planning, dementia care, and primary care, with the ability to perform vital sign assessments and phlebotomy.

*Duties*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
* Assist with discharge planning and provide education to patients and families regarding care plans.
* Provide compassionate care for patients with dementia, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in a Level I Trauma Center environment.
* Perform sonography as needed for patient assessments.
* Assist in family planning consultations and support services.
* Lift and transfer patients safely while adhering to proper techniques to prevent injury.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.

*Experience*
Candidates should possess a valid LPN license with experience in various nursing settings, including but not limited to:
* ICU or critical care environments.
* Primary care facilities or outpatient clinics.
* Experience in discharge planning processes is preferred.
* Familiarity with phlebotomy techniques and the ability to perform vital sign assessments are essential skills for this role. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for patient-centered care are highly valued in our organization.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $46.00 per hour
