To qualify for the role, you must have

1. Undergraduate or master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, computer science, business, economics, finance, statistics, and/or analytics)
2. Around 6 or more years of related work experience in banking, capital markets, insurance or asset management space
3. Superior communication (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions and results to technology and business audiences at all levels and disciplines within EY and client organizations
4. Experience working independently, efficiently and effectively under extreme time constraints and delivering results by critical deadlines
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Experience with client-facing activities such as requirements gathering, facilitating meetings, presentation creation, and ability to prepare client ready deliverables
7. Prior experience in project management and client serving roles
8. Excellent leadership and teaming skills
9. Strong organizational and time-management skills
10. Ability to integrate new knowledge and adapt to change with a natural curiosity and desire to learn

Updated Job Responsibilities:

1. Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value-add analytics and insights solutions.
2. Practical experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams through a product life cycle – requirements, design, development, and testing.
3. Experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade ML and DL models, machine learning workflows, and pipelines.
4. Proficiency in Generative AI techniques, including GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), VAEs (Variational Autoencoders), and transformers.
5. Helping clients make data-driven decisions by working with structured and unstructured data sets, building out predictive models, and advising our clients on leading practices.
6. Building and applying data analysis algorithms (data mining, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, RNNs, CNNs, etc.) as appropriate.
7. Designing, architecting, and developing solutions leveraging big data technology (Hadoop, Cassandra, Spark, Neo4j) to ingest, process, and analyze large, disparate data sets to exceed business requirements.
8. Leveraging in-house data platforms as needed and recommending and building new data platforms/solutions as required to exceed business requirements.
9. A thorough understanding of the Python programming language and associated machine learning libraries/packages (sklearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, statsmodels, etc.).
10. Experience in multiple tools/language/frameworks within the Big Data & cloud ecosystem (Hadoop, MongoDB, Neo4j, Spark, Hive, HBase, Cassandra, etc.).
11. Demonstrated experience of managing and mentoring teams of data scientists, ML engineers, and data engineers on the execution of specific business use cases for AI/ML.
12. Strong machine learning and data structure design, development, application of advanced analytical and statistical methods, and architecture experience.
13. Ability to quantify improvement in business areas resulting from optimization techniques through the use of business analytics and/or statistical modeling.
14. Collaborate with our data scientists to map data fields to hypotheses and curate, wrangle, and prepare data for use in their advanced analytical models.

Additional Requirements:

1. Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing ML and AI solutions.
2. Strong deep learning experience, particularly in applications of Neural Network architectures to Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Intelligence, and/or Reinforcement Learning.
3. Expertise in designing and deploying cloud-native architectures and solutions that leverage serverless computing, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices.
4. Experience in integrating AI/ML solutions within cloud environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
5. Familiarity with cloud-based machine learning services like AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, Google AI Platform, Azure Machine Learning & Azure AI Studio.
6. Knowledge of MLOps practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of machine learning models in a cloud environment.
7. Understanding of data security and privacy best practices in cloud environments, including compliance.
8. Practical experience in developing and deploying Generative AI applications for various use cases such as text generation, image synthesis, and creative AI.
9. Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll also have

1. Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or Science (MS) preferred
2. Prior consulting experience

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $141,400 to $259,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $169,700 to $294,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
