*LTC LPN | Licensed Practical Nurse- Long Term Care *

*Position Overview:*

The job of a Long-Term Care LPN is to provide care for elderly patients. The nurse will work under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. This nurse will need to work in a fast-paced environment.

*Key Responsibilities: *
* Monitor patients' health by assessing vitals and providing necessary treatments
* Administer medications, injections, and perform CPR when required
* Educate patients and families on treatment plans, including self-care after discharge, holistic health, available resources, and follow-up care
* Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, and restroom needs
* Supervise CNAs and other support staff

*Qualifications*:
* NCLEX-PN
* Required Certifications: BLS issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
* 1 year of LTC experience in the last 2 years
* Additional requirements based on facility
