The Registered Nurse Critical Care will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the Critical Care Unit, with daily collaboration alongside the multidisciplinary team. This role is integral to our patient care strategy, working closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
The Critical Care Unit is designed to provide intensive, around-the-clock care for patients with severe and life-threatening conditions. Our unit is equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by experienced professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The team is committed to supporting both patients and their families through challenging times.
Job Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as required.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions with appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
- Educate patients and families on the care process, offering support and guidance during critical situations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit protocols.
