Job Title: Python Engineer - Machine Learning Platform

Location: Plano, TX

Employment Type: W-2 (Consultant must be on our company payroll. C2C is not allowed)

  1. Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
  2. Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
  3. Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  4. Proficiency with Unix Shell scripting, Perl, Python, SQL, and PL/SQL
  5. Expert Python programming language and Object-Oriented design with hands-on experience on above
  6. Hands-on knowledge of Restful API development
  7. Experience in developing large scale, microservice oriented, distributed applications and API
  8. Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team, including design reviews, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  9. Linux system programming with Python and C or C++
  10. Experience with computer hardware, not just virtual or cloud services
  11. Experience in working in DevOps, continuous integration/deployment and Agile environment
  12. Must be a self-starter in identifying ways to improve design and development processes
  13. Strong attention to detail, an eagerness to dig in and find the root causes of obscure problems
