Entry Level Mechanic FULL-TIME

Troubleshooting, removing, installing, replacing, re-building, repairing, & testing parts/components on plant & production equipment

Keeping mechanical equipment in good condition and working order

Inspecting machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure a continuous production operation

Using manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant & production equipment

Using hand & power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, & test parts/equipment on plant & production equipment

Performing electrical and/or pneumatic work on production machines as needed

Welding and fabrication

Maintaining good housekeeping and GMP’s

Maintaining food safety and quality

Other duties as assigned

REM-04 WS-04 WS-TC
Schedule

Shift start: 8:00PM or 10:00PM
Shift length: 8 - 10 hours

Qualifications
  • Must pass drug screen (cannabis excluded)
  • Must pass background check
  • Can lift 75 lbs
  • Must be at least 18+ years old
2 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages Ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand tools Carry and push/pull up to 100 pounds Ability to read and write English for completion of production/quality documents. Familiarity with mechanical controls Electrical experience is a plus
