Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.
Position Highlights:
* May be eligible for a $65,000 Sign-On Recruitment Package with 6-year commitment

* Student Loan Repayment: This position may be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary
* Under the direction of the Director of Patient Care and/or Director of Nursing/LTC Clinical Coordinator, the LPN is responsible for the planning and coordination of direct patient and resident care services.
* Serves as a core member of the interdisciplinary client care team.
* Has the necessary authority to assess, plan, evaluate and teach in patient/resident situations.
* Carries out administrative responsibilities as delegated by Director of Patient Care/Director of Nursing/LTC Clinical Coordinator.
Education/Experience
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
* Associate's Degree is required.
* 3-5 years of experience is required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
* Licensed as a LPN in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure is required.
* Basic Life support (BLS) (Offered on-site) is required.
Work Schedule
* Hours: Day/Night Shift; 72 hours every 2 weeks
* 6:00 am - 6:30 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:30 am
* Every 3rd weekend
* Every 3rd holiday
* No call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
* $22.75 - $31.50
