A Day in the Life of a Pediatric Social Worker: Step into the shoes of a compassionate advocate, where each day is a blend of empathy, assessment, and collaboration. As a pediatric social worker, you'll be tasked with assessing the social, emotional, and physical needs of young patients. Your role extends beyond the clinic walls as you collaborate with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialty services. With meticulous attention to detail, you'll conduct assessments, interviews, and evaluations, ensuring that every interaction is documented with care. Your mission? Key Highlights of Your Journey:
  • Compensation: Earn between $50.00 to $60.00 per hour, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
  • Schedule: Embrace the flexibility of part-time hours, with shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, totaling 24 hours per week.
  • Duration: Embark on a 6-month contract with the potential for a permanent position, starting ASAP

Your Essential Toolkit:
  • Possess a CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification, a testament to your commitment to excellence.
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of Social Work experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to pediatric settings.
  • Showcase your proficiency in EPIC, alongside your ability to apply social work theories and principles with finesse.
  • Demonstrate your aptitude for gathering data, managing caseloads, and providing written case narratives with clarity and precision.
