Our Hospice Licensed Vocational Nurses enjoy some notable benefits:

As a Hospice Health Licensed Vocational Nurse, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:
* Provide home-based care to patients with a prognosis of six months or less to live, focused on quality of life
* Work as part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of a physician, RN, CNA, HHA, social worker, chaplain and volunteers to carry out the patient's plan of care
* Perform nursing services which are planned, delegated, and supervised by the registered nurse
* Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care
* Take a holistic approach to care that engages the patient's mind, body, spirit and family
A few must-haves for Home Health Licensed Vocational Nurses:
* Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program and active LVN license in California
* One year of hospice LVN experience
* CPR certification
* Valid California driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
* Knowledge of state and federal home health and hospice regulations
* Clinical proficiency in nursing, strong communication skills and compassion
