Excel Truck Group is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to join our team in Columbia, SC .

If you have a valid CDL A or CDL B and a clean MVR, this is a career you need to explore. Hazardous Material Endorsement is a plus (Excel Truck Group will pay for this endorsement). In this role you will be responsible for test driving, picking up, and delivering repaired, new or used trucks.

Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL A or CDL B License. CDL A is preferred.
  • Good, qualified driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical
  • Drug/Alcohol free
  • Available to work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather.
Essential Functions:
  • Able to drive safely trucks to local and some customers generally within a 100 radius. Able to move truck units and support our other departments as needed to move inventory.
  • Must understand and comply with all DOT regulations and our Safety Standards.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
  • Drives truck in a safe manner at all times, always wearing safety belt.
  • Report maintenance problems to the manager or supervisor.
  • Follow all safety regulations and precautions.
  • Wear all required and necessary Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Flexible to the multiple needs of our Dealership and willing to assist in any task to assist our customers.
  • Performs other related work as required.
