Data Entry/Mailroom Clerk

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM OR 9AM-6PM

Duration: Ongoing contract (You will be contracted through TEKsystems)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

  • Maintains records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information.
  • Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of info before it is entered.
  • Translating paper documents into electronic formats, such as customer information and spreadsheets
  • Filing digital and paper documents
  • Handles inbound processing and assists with the production of outbound mailing services. 
  • Sorts and delivers incoming mail by department and/or employee to ensure timely distribution
  • Secures information by completing database backups.
  • Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Requirements

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
