This well-respected, full-service, 400+ bed non-profit hospital has a Level 4 NICU and has been nationally recognized for its nearly 100 specialties including world-class programs for heart and vascular, brain, spine, women’s services, orthopaedics, transplant, and robotic surgery, and is Certified as a Primary Stroke Center from The Joint Commission.
Reporting to the Director of Neonatal Services, the NICU Nurse Manager will manage an experienced team of NICU Nurses and support staff. The NICU Nurse Manager will be well supported by Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Unit Supervisors and NICU Charge Nurses. Working with Women’s and Children’s leadership, the NICU Nurse Manager will be responsible for managing staff and maintaining the standard of care in the department.
The NICU Nurse Manager will be responsible for guiding nursing practice, hiring, and promoting staff performance improvement initiatives. The NICU Nurse Manager will oversee the departmental budget and be responsible for quality improvement of the unit.
