You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Nuclear Technologist PRN like you to be a part of our team.
Job Summary and QualificationsThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepare and administer radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals. You will perform patient imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation.You will provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation. The patient population may range from newborn to geriatric.
You will:
- Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Prepare stock solutions of Radiopharmaceuticals and materials
- Practice aseptic/sterile technique for all procedures
- Work within the Nuc Med Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures
- Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the department
- Complete required documentation accurately immediately after completing each case
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)
- Associate Degree

We have served Sebring, Florida, and the surrounding counties since 1965. We offer advanced technology, attracting the most qualified physicians and surgeons in the area. Our Emergency Room is the area’s only dedicated Senior ER. This features designated parking and hearing amplifiers. This also offers optical devices, specific discharge planning and personal scheduling assistance. All patient directives are clear, easing tension. Our Orthopedic Institute provides an upscale environment for joint replacements. Patients are at ease in our facility. The hospital specializes in minimally invasive procedures. These result in shorter hospital stays and a faster recovery.
