The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Occasional Saturday is needed. Some repairs can only be done on Saturdays. Some schedule flexibility is helpful.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintenance & repair of refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, dock doors, air systems, racking, CCTV, and interconnectivity cabling (PC/PLC/Server).
- Use PLC and online applications to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot automation malfunctions.
- Develop approved system modifications and procure resources needed to complete modifications.
- Weld and fabricate and patch flooring as needed.
- Research and order parts, tools, and technology.
- Input repair orders for out of service warehouse equipment.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
- Maintain relationships with current vendors & schedule service calls when needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant technical degree OR other professional training.
- At least 5 years of professional industrial maintenance experience.
- HVAC and welding certifications.
- Read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Experience with 480V/3-phase industrial equipment and controls.
- Knowledge of PLC and computerized controlled automated systems, equipment, and functions.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Basic computer skills as well as experience using a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.
