Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for Broadlawns Medical Center located in Des Moines, IA.  Broadlawns Medical Center has an average census of 110 patients and strives to build a healthy community for everyone.  This is a fun position that gets to be involved in a little bit of everything:  inpatient and outpatient care, providing guidance to the call center staff and programming the patient menu software.

 

No weekends, great work life balance, flexible schedule with potential for some remote work.

The successful candidate will:

  • provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatients and outpatients;
  • have the opportunity to grow leadership skills, if desired;
  • perform quality improvement initiatives;
  • educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and
  • precept dietetic interns.

What We Offer:

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
