The basics of this position:
Teach Drone Mission Planning and Videography class. This class is the second drone class. Students will have basic flying skills, and regulatory knowledge.
What you'll do:

  • Prepare and conduct lectures, and laboratory exercises in drone operation, mission planning, and videography. Provide instruction for safe drone operation with hands-on practice. Students should be able to develop mission planning information from customer input, establish parameters for automated mission planning, and produce artifacts such as geolocation data, imagery, and video.

    Education, experience, and other requirements:
    FAA Part 107 Certification. Experience in commercial drone data acquisition, manipulation, and production based on client provided parameters.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    Master's degree in a field related to Geospatial Technologies. College teaching experience.
