Job Responsibilities:

* Assist with the implementation of the students Individualized Education (IEP).
* Implement appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques.
* Observe/Record data related to behavioral concerns to assess/monitor the progress of the student.
* Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support clients' behavioral and developmental needs.
* Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your expertise in behavior management and techniques.
* Assist students within the classroom/program setting during participation in special subjects such as Physical Education, Vocational programs, and Field trips.

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years old.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Genuine passion for working with children, demonstrating patience and compassion.
Nice-to-Haves

* An associate's degree or higher or completed at least two years of postsecondary study; or successful completion of a state or locally developed assessment.
