Description
Responsibilities:
- Offer daily support on the manufacturing floor by addressing engineering changes and overseeing the management of defective materials.
- Facilitate the integration of new products into existing manufacturing processes.
- Create methods and operational sequences for the fabrication, assembly, and testing of parts, ultimately leading to finished products.
- Standardize test equipment, tools, and procedures to boost manufacturing efficiency.
- Assess manufacturing costs and labor standards while actively participating in cost-reduction efforts.
- Implement necessary manufacturing standards as required.
- Work with purchasing to select, assess, and oversee suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Enhance technical expertise as a Manufacturing Engineer through continuous training.
- Promote a safe, efficient, and secure workplace.
- Uphold the quality and accuracy of all produced work.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- In-depth knowledge of electro-mechanical technologies, equipment, and related processes.
- Proficient in CAD software and manufacturing technology.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiar with cost estimation and reduction techniques.
- Strong ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
- IPC certification is a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, especially in the electronics sector.
- Must be adaptable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
