Job Description

Company has an immediate opening for an experienced and professional Fulfillment Manager in our Modesto CA office. This position manages forecasting activities, PO scheduling, vendor capacity planning, transport logistics, and associated ERP transactions to ensure for the uninterrupted availability of products in support of global sales initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership, results-driven approach to managing the Purchasing and Inventory management and possess excellent analytical, communication, organizational, attention to detail, and technical skills. Prior experience should include managing a ERP inventory management system, working with logistics companies, and planning and managing inventory forecasts and inventory allocation based on the company's need.

Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the Sales Team, develops, prepares, and maintains a global forecast to be used in the material planning process
  • Routinely reviews actual sales rates vs. forecast, and makes changes to open PO’s to maintain inventory levels to prevent overages and shortages.
  • Ensures material planning activities / product availability schedules incorporate the most cost effective transportation / delivery methods
  • Manages / maintains ERP/MRP data integrity through review and maintenance of Standard Costs, BOM configurations, Min/Max inventory levels, Lead-time offset, Economic Order Quantities, and any other relevant data
  • Develops and maintains an inventory audit program to measure material management effectiveness. Publishes results at least monthly
  • Updates and publish daily, weekly, and/or monthly Production schedules, Sales History database, recycle reports, and open PO reports
  • Manages Company’s Modesto Purchasing Team in support of global material procurement / distribution
  • Manages / controls freight costs, vendor relations / performance, and negotiates rates, including domestic / international freight carriers, and associated 3PL partners.
  • Communicates / escalates issues impacting order fill rate to Senior Management.

Qualifications

Company is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic individual with great communication skills to join our fast-paced team. We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Systems / Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. APICS certification is highly desired.
  • 5+ years experience managing end-to-end material planning activities utilizing structured ERP/MRP protocols.
  • 5 years of in an increasing supervisory role
  • Excellent verbal and written skills a must
  • Years of experience 3-5 years minimum in Inventory Control / Mgt
  • Must have enterprise expertise in using MRP / ERP systems.
  • Warehouse automation experience – experience in Manual inventory
  • Warehouse experience
  • Cycle counting
  • National / International vendor experience
  • Must have use of Inventory Forecasting software modules interfacing with Sales dept.
  • Analytics
  • Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Suites – Access, Excel , PowerPoint, Word
  • Power BI
  • Macola
  • Salesforce

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
