Overview of the role: Accounts Receivable & Cash Applications
- Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and monthly aging reports
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Monitoring/tracking outstanding account balances
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Managing vendor relationships and resolve billing questions
- Research and investigate revenue/AR discrepancies to ensure items are coded, processed, and recorded accurately and timely.
- Analyze and process revenue transactions on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Prepare and enter adjusting journal entries.
Preferred Qualifications: Accounts Receivable & Cash Applications
- Ability to communicate effectively with the organization and external audiences
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment, particularly in a small office setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel functions
- Experience with posting payments and researching discrepancies
- Strong verbal skills are a must
